Livingstone Beach Restaurant is pr. 1st of June looking for an enthusiastic Head Waiter/ess with ambitions to join our team

This is a fantastic opportunity for the experienced individual to join and lead the team at this high class beach restaurant, which promises to set and uphold the finest standards of food and service. In this position, as Headwaiter, you will be required to lead and assist with the service of quality food in a professional manner, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times. You will be responsible for delivering excellent service and you will be expected to work efficiently and professionally at all times. The Head Waiter/ess needs to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, excellent attention to detail, and have high standards of personal presentation.

Key responsibilities of the Head Waiter/ess will include:

• Manage a team of waiting Staff
• Ensuring prompt and professional guest service
• Setting up tables
• Taking orders
• Being familiar with Livingstone Beach Restaurants menu and wine list at all times
• Ensure all sections are organized and ready for service
• Ensure all guest requirements are adhered
• Be in charge of communication with the kitchen to relay information to the floor
• Train all new team members
• Being punctual and respectful of time

The ideal candidate for the Head Waiter/ess position should:

• Have minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar role in an international standard restaurant
• Have good team leading skills
• Have good knowledge of food & beverage preparation and service
• Be able to interact in a professional manner with guests and employees
• Be fully competent in table service skills
• Communicate effectively in English
• Have positive can do attitude
• You must be confident, professional and a have a welcoming personality
• Have an additional language knowledge is a bonus
